I’m Rebecca. With my husband and four small people, we live in Atlanta, where the summers are hot and the tea is sweet. I once had my life all planned out until God used parenting, adoption, breast cancer, and being a medical mom to wreck and rebuild me. Today, with the help of English Breakfast Tea and handfuls of dark chocolate almonds, I go about my life twenty-four hours at a time surrendered to the God I’ve found faithful.
Most days I pour some tea, type up a story or two, pick up yesterday’s toys, submit articles, rewarm my tea, edit a bit, and then set plates on the table for dinner.
I’m guessing that your life is like mine. Wild, salty and sweet. I hope you’ll find a dose of encouragement, some tips on parenting, words for the adoption journey, and a good story to get you thinking.
I’ve written for Today’s Parents, Chicken Soup for the Soul, iBelieve, No Hands But Ours, and Ungrind.
